Christmas gifts needed for children in Manassas

House of Mercy, a Catholic nonprofit in Manassas, will host a
“Christmas with Mercy” program to provide gifts for more than 350 children of low-income
families Dec. 10. Children qualify for gifts based on their parents’
participation in free classes, including personal money management, ESL, cooking
and nutrition and faith formation.

“We rely on individuals and civic groups who abhor the idea of a
gift-less Christmas for any child,” said Ann Cimini, executive director of HOM.

Gifts, with a requested value of $20-$25, will be accepted through
Dec. 8 at the HOM Donation Center at 8162 Flannery Court, Manassas.

Volunteers are needed Dec. 7-10 to help with the program.
