More than 50 women religious from around the diocese gathered at the Benedictine Monastery in Bristow for the annual Convocation of Women Religious Sept. 7.

The annual convocation allows women religious of various orders an opportunity to mingle and grow in fellowship. Bishop Michael F. Burbidge celebrated Mass for the sisters and joined them for a luncheon. Two Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia, Sisters Mary Grace Watson and Anna Cecilia Kuhn, who recently arrived in the Arlington diocese, joined the gathering.
