A convocation of women religious was held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Lake Ridge Sept. 10. Religious came from seven different orders: Handmaids of Reparation of the Sacred Heart of Jesus; Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist; Sisters of Our Lady of La Salette; Daughters of St. Paul; Dominican Sisters (Congregation of St. Cecilia); Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary; and the Benedictine Sisters of Virginia.

Following Mass, the sisters joined Bishop Burbidge for a luncheon and Q&A. They welcomed two sisters who are new to the diocese, Daughter of St. Paul Sr. Kathryn Hermes and Dominican Sr. Immaculata Marie Policare.
