Diocesan festival to celebrate America’s 250th birthday

Diocesan families across the diocese are invited to celebrate the nation’s semiquincentennial at the annual Diocesan Festival June 13 at the Clarke County Fairgrounds in Berryville. This year’s theme is “Celebrating Faith and Freedom.”

Bishop Michael F. Burbidge will kick off the festival with a vigil Mass at 3:45 p.m. Other festival highlights include amusement rides and activities for children, Latin American singer and songwriter Jon Carlo, Celtic rock band Scythian, and free food and drinks while supplies last. A massive fireworks display will end the evening.

Tickets are free, but registration is required. Registration is open.
