The Knights of Columbus council at Our Lady of the Valley Church in Luray recently completed a successful drive to collect personal hygiene products for Page County Public School students.
The Knights collected more than 350 donations from parishioners the weekend of Jan. 27-28. On behalf of the Knights’ Monsignor Paul V Heller Council No. 8393, Grand Knight Jay Fuller and William F. Bolton Jr. delivered the donations to the school administrators Feb. 2.
The supplies will support the hygiene closets at local schools for students who need essential items including toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap and shampoo.
