New farmers market in Arlington

Fresh, organic fruits and vegetables plus hormone- and
antibiotic-free meats from humanely raised animals will be
available to local residents at a farmers market at Marymount
University in Arlington. The market is a partnership between
the university and the nonprofit Field to Table Inc., an
organization that encourages people to establish a
relationship with the land by purchasing from local farmers
and food preparers.

Twelve vendors, from no farther than 125 miles away, were
selected to provide the produce and meats, in addition to
small batch craft single origin coffees, barrel-fermented
pickles, krauts and kimchi and other specialty foods.
