Bishop Michael F. Burbidge blessed a new van for A Best Choice Mobile Ultrasound and Pregnancy Resource Center at St. Mary of Sorrows Church in Fairfax Aug. 12.

“Our last RV was 22 years old and we’re hoping that this will last us 20 years in the future,” said Angela Clark, executive director. “This is the result of many parishes and pastors, deacons and Knights of Columbus councils and the Anglicans as well. We’re blessed to be called to do God’s work in this way. We have helped to save 132 babies in the last four years.”

After blessing the van with holy water, Bishop Burbidge said. “When we say we are pro-life, we are pro-life and we will walk with the child and the mother and the father every step of the way.”
