Before too long, the clergy and faithful at Corpus Christi Church in Aldie can enjoy spending a little less time driving U.S. Route 50 than they do now.
Currently, the parish office sits in an office park in South Riding, four-plus miles down the often-busy road from where congregants gather for worship in Aldie. Parish leaders broke ground March 17 for construction of a new parish office and rectory on land adjacent to the new, gothic-style church in southeastern Loudoun County that was dedicated last May. According to Father Michael G. Taylor, pastor, Castleman Construction estimates that, with the work underway this month, the buildings will be complete within six months.
