More than 900 seniors received diplomas from five Catholic high schools in the Arlington Diocese during the past week.

Bishop O’Connell High School in Arlington held its graduation ceremony May 31 at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington. Jennifer Bigelow, diocesan superintendent of Catholic Schools was the graduation speaker. Some 233 seniors received diplomas. The valedictorian was Matthew Ehlers and the salutatorian was Caitlin Mea.

The graduation ceremony for Saint John Paul the Great Catholic High School in Dumfries took place June 1 at Hylton Memorial Chapel in Woodbridge where180 seniors received their diplomas. Katherine Taylor was the valedictorian and James Storen was the salutatorian.

Paul VI Catholic High School in Fairfax presented diplomas to 243 seniors at Eagle Bank Arena in Fairfax June 3. Seung Yun “Simon” Lee was the valedictorian, while Sarah D’Esopo was the salutatorian.

Seton School in Manassas held its graduation ceremony June 4 at All Saints Church in Manassas. The valedictorian was Katya Konstanty and Kalli Dalrymple was the salutatorian. Diplomas were presented to 70 seniors.

Bishop Ireton High School in Alexandria held its graduation ceremony June 5 at the shrine. Diplomas were presented to 203 seniors. The valedictorian was Peter Murphy and the salutatorian was Gabrielle Baniqued.
