Some parents around the diocese shared excited but emotional farewells as they dropped their kids off at diocesan elementary schools Aug. 23. At Our Lady of Hope School in Potomac Falls, elementary and middle school students decked out in the uniforms of the OLOH “Crusaders” hugged their parents goodbye during the morning dropoff.

Diocesan high schools likewise welcomed incoming and returning students back to school, as students anticipated another year of education and faith formation.
