Holy Spirit Church in Annandale recently concluded a toy drive that netted more than 1,200 gift donations.

Father John O’Donohue, pastor, Anne Dyke, school principal, and Ashley Martinez, assistant principal, welcomed members of the Fairfax County Police Department on a snowy Dec. 5 to pick up toys that the parish and school collected. Police officers distribute toys to children in area hospitals and when they are on patrol and see a family in need. It was the largest collection ever for the combined parish and school effort.
