Members of the John Paul the Great wrestling team pose for a photo after a fifth-place finish at the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association state tournament, the highest finish in school history. Seven starters earned all-state honors and the team sent a school-record four individuals to the prep national tournament due to their respective top 4 finishes. The girls lacrosse team at John Paul the Great capped off an undefeated regular season by winning the Virginia Christian Athletic Conference championship at home May 8 against Trinity Christian School in Fairfax.
