The Crochet and Knitting Club at Holy Family Catholic School in Dale City began meeting in late October to create scarves and blankets for StreetLight Community Outreach Ministries, a nonprofit organization that assists the poor and homeless in Prince William County and surrounding counties. Science teacher Cheryl Day will continue to lead the group, including Alexey Baletsenko (left) and Yeinner Cruc, in the project until mid-January.
