A first class relic of St. Clare of Assisi will be on display at
St. Clare of Assisi Church in Clifton during a special feast day Mass Aug.11 at
7:30 p.m. Father Thomas J. Lehning, pastor of St. Clare, will celebrate the Mass. A reception will be held afterward.
The
relic was donated by Father Joseph D. Bergida, parochial vicar of St. Andrew
the Apostle Church in Clifton. Parishioners Gen. Art and Elsa Blades designed
and donated the display case, which contains the relic, the certificate of
authenticity and St. Clare prayer cards.
