Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church and School in Vienna are
donating 755 power packs for needy children in Fairfax County elementary
schools through Food for Others.

The power packs help guarantee that students at high risk of food
insecurity on the weekends will have nutrition and less worry about where their
next meal will come from, according to Food for Others.

More than 2,700 pounds of food were donated in March, which
doubled the donation from December. The Santa Maria Council of the Knights of
Columbus contributed $200 and the fish fry raised $817 through a 50/50 raffle.
