The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate
Conception in Washiongton needs volunteers to serve Christmas
dinner to those who are alone or in need Christmas Day from
12:15 to 2:30 p.m. Volunteers will serve meals in the
basilica’s dining room and help deliver meals directly to
homes in Washington and in Montgomery and Prince George’s
counties. In its 41st year, the event is expected to feed
around 1,600 people.
