The Arlington and Washington divisions of the World
Apostolate of Fatima will commemorate the 10th anniversary of
the organization’s elevation to the apostolate Feb. 13 at the
Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception,
400 Michigan Ave., N.E., Washington.
A Holy Hour will take place in the Chapel of the Immaculate
Heart of Mary at noon. Father Mark Moretti, spiritual
director of the apostolate, will celebrate Mass at 1 p.m.
The World Apostolate of Fatima was founded in 1947 in the
United States as a private association to make known the
appearance of the Blessed Virgin to three children in Fatima,
Portugal in May 1917.
