In conjunction with the 16th anniversary of Project Rachel
post-abortion healing ministry in the Arlington Diocese,
Bishop Paul S. Loverde has released a new YouTube video that
invites those suffering after abortion to: “Come back home.
We are waiting for you, and more importantly, God is waiting
for you.” Bishop Loverde’s gentle yet powerful message offers
hope to anyone who mistakenly worries that her or his sins
are too large for God’s mercy.

Project Rachel is sponsoring a yearlong prayer effort that
kicks off with a 30-day prayer campaign July 16 (the feast of
Our Lady of Mount Carmel) and ends Aug. 15 (the feast of the
Assumption of Our Lady and the 16th anniversary of Project
Rachel in the diocese).

A new web address, which will link back to the diocesan
post-abortion ministry page, has been established in an
effort to reach those in need of healing and make it easier
to those who need help to find it.

Project Rachel post-abortion healing ministry is offering
free magnetic bumper stickers to parishes throughout the
diocese that feature the words, “Hope After Abortion,” along
with a helpline number: 888-456-HOPE. Share the message of
mercy by displaying these removable stickers on your car. To
order a supply of free bumper stickers for your parish or
family and friends, call 703/831-2755 or email [email protected].
