Pope Francis will canonize Blessed Junipero Serra during a Mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception at Sept. 23.
Before the Mass, the pope will greet approximately 3,600 seminarians and women novices from religious orders inside the church. He will then celebrate Mass in Spanish. The canonization Mass for Blessed Serra will livestream at the link below at 4:15 p.m.
