una interrupci\u00f3n repentina del flujo sangu\u00edneo al cerebro y un colapso cardiocirculatorio, seg\u00fan inform\u00f3 la Oficina de Prensa del Vaticano, tras &#8220;el rito de constataci\u00f3n de la muerte\u201d del Santo Padre.<\/p>\n<p>El deceso ocurri\u00f3 a las 7:35 a.m. en su residencia de la Domus Santa Marta, seg\u00fan el parte m\u00e9dico oficial emitido por la Direcci\u00f3n de Sanidad e Higiene del Estado de la Ciudad del Vaticano.<\/p>\n<p>En el documento, firmado por el director del organismo sanitario vaticano, el doctor Andrea Arcalli, se se\u00f1ala que el Santo Padre muri\u00f3 a causa de un \u201cictus cerebral\u201d, seguido de un \u201ccoma\u201d y un \u201ccolapso cardiocirculatorio irreversible\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>El Santo Padre, que sali\u00f3 del hospital Policl\u00ednico Gemelli de Roma el 23 de marzo donde estuvo ingresado durante 38 d\u00edas con una neumon\u00eda bilateral, arrastraba desde hace tiempo una serie de complicaciones m\u00e9dicas cr\u00f3nicas.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan se lee en el documento de defunci\u00f3n divulgado por el Vaticano, el Papa Francisco hab\u00eda sufrido un episodio previo de insuficiencia respiratoria aguda causada por una neumon\u00eda bilateral multimicrobiana, y padec\u00eda bronquiectasias m\u00faltiples, hipertensi\u00f3n arterial y diabetes tipo II.<\/p>\n<p>Estas condiciones preexistentes contribuyeron a debilitar su estado general de salud e hicieron imposible su recuperaci\u00f3n tras el derrame cerebral.<\/p>\n<p>La muerte fue confirmada mediante registro electrocardiotanatogr\u00e1fico, un procedimiento cl\u00ednico utilizado para certificar el cese irreversible de las funciones card\u00edacas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El
