Su finalidad es proteger los documentos personales y garantizar una transici\u00f3n ordenada del poder en la Iglesia Cat\u00f3lica.<\/p>\n<p>Se trata de un proceso a trav\u00e9s del que se trata de evitar intrusiones, que se falsifiquen sus decisiones o que sean robados documentos durante este periodo de Sede Vacante, previo al c\u00f3nclave que elegir\u00e1 al nuevo Pont\u00edfice.<\/p>\n<p>El sigilo tuvo lugar justo despu\u00e9s del rito solemne de la constataci\u00f3n de la muerte y la deposici\u00f3n del cuerpo en el ata\u00fad, seg\u00fan se establece en el\u00a0<em>Ordo Exsequiarum Romani Pontificis,\u00a0<\/em>el libro lit\u00fargico cuya \u00faltima edici\u00f3n fue aprobada por el propio pont\u00edfice el 29 de abril de 2024 y publicada en noviembre del mismo a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>Los restos del Papa Francisco han sido trasladados a la capilla de Santa Marta donde ha sido le\u00eddo el informe de su defunci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p><em>Nota del editor: El t\u00edtulo y el contenido del art\u00edculo se han modificado para precisar que el sellado de las habitaciones pontificias se realiz\u00f3 tanto en Casa Santa Marta como en el Palacio Apost\u00f3lico.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El Secretario de Estado del Vaticano, Cardenal Pietro Parolin;
