12 graduates to attend U.S. military academies

Twelve graduating seniors from four Arlington diocesan high schools will attend military academies this fall.

Bishop O’Connell High School in Arlington: Kyle Smith and Nathaniel Smith will attend the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in New York; Seth Viani will go to the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md.

Bishop Ireton High School in Alexandria: Elizabeth Carter and Victoria Patacsil will attend the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, Conn.; Sean Gibbons and Grace McCaffery will go to the U.S. Naval Academy.

Paul VI Catholic High School in Fairfax: Christopher DeBruyne will attend the U.S. Military Academy. 

Saint John Paul the Great Catholic High School in Dumfries: Jacob Gregorio Adams will go to the Naval Academy Preparatory School in Newport, R.I.; Gabriel Thomas Gallant will go to the U.S. Coast Guard Academy; Thomas Joseph Liuzzo III will attend the U.S. Military Academy; Vincent Christopher Olivera will go to the U.S. Naval Academy.
