Army chaplain who served in Korea, Japan returns to the U.S.

Father Eric J. Albertson, a diocesan priest currently serving as a colonel in the Army for the Archdiocese for the Military Services, was assigned recently to MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Fla.

Having just completed four years in Asia, Father Albertson will now serve as the senior chaplain for U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM), a combatant command that oversees joint and coalition military operations and activities throughout Central and Southwest Asia.
