First slide

Arlington Bishop Michael F. Burbidge will visit all seven deaneries in the diocese after the New Year. The visits will provide an opportunity for diocesan Catholics to meet their new shepherd, who was installed at the Cathedral of St. Thomas More Dec. 6.

The first Mass and reception will take place Jan. 9 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Winchester. The subsequent schedule includes: Jan. 10 at the Cathedral of St. Thomas More in Arlington; Jan. 11 at All Saints Church in Manassas; Jan. 13 at St. Theresa Church in Ashburn; Jan. 17 at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception in Fredericksburg; Jan. 18 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Vienna; and Jan. 23 at St. Bernadette Church in Springfield (note date change).

Each Mass is open to the public and will begin at 7 p.m. A reception will follow.
