St. Anthony of Padua Church in Falls Church celebrated its namesake’s
feast day June 13 with a bilingual Mass. Father Matthew H. Zuberbueler, pastor,
celebrated the Mass with Fathers Jeb S. Donelan, parochial vicar, and Alan
Ventura, parochial vicar. Deacon Joseph Moschetto assisted.
Parishioners venerated the first class relic of St. Anthony of
Padua after Mass. St. Anthony is the patron saint of lost items, travelers and
the poor. After Mass, parishioners were treated to ice cream and food in the church
courtyard.
