New venue for men’s and women’s conferences

The Office for Family Life will host this year’s men’s and
women’s conferences at Foxchase Manor, 8310 Chatsworth Dr.,
Manassas. The venue was selected for its large seating
capacity of 1,500.

The men’s conference, “Victory Over the Common Enemy:
Overcoming Sin and Evil,” will take place March 7, from 9
a.m. to 4 p.m. Confessions will be available at 7 a.m., with
breakfast at 7:45 a.m. Speakers will include Father Larry
Richards, founder and president of Reason for Hope
Foundation, and Neal Lozano, executive director of Heart of
the Father Ministries. Arlington Bishop Paul S. Loverde will
celebrate Mass at 2:30 p.m.

The Office for Family Life and the Arlington Diocesan Council
of Catholic Women will host the women’s conference,
“Suffering Endured with Joy Will Transform the World,” March
28, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Confessions will be available
at 7 a.m. followed by breakfast. Bishop Loverde will open the
conference with Mass at 8:45 a.m.

Speakers will include Kerri Caviezel, teacher, crisis
pregnancy volunteer and wife of actor Jim Caviezel; and
Kathleen Wilson, founder of Mary’s Shelter.
