Boras leads Knights over Cardinals

Senior midfielder Grace Boras scored two goals to lead the Bishop O’Connell girls’ soccer team to a 3-2 victory over visiting Bishop Ireton High School. The game was played Oct. 16 in Arlington.

The Knights overcame two goals by Ireton freshman Holly Weber. Her sister, Lilly, a senior, assisted on both goals.

O’Connell sophomore Julianne Ludwick scored the other goal for the Knights.

In other action Oct. 20, O’Connell lost to Paul VI Catholic High School 1-0, while Ireton defeated St. Mary’s Ryken 5-1.
