Catholic school students compete in state geography bee

Ryan Murray from Holy Cross Academy in Fredericksburg, Thaddeus Worth from St. Rita School in Alexandria and Gabriel MacPhail from St. Thomas More Cathedral School in Arlington competed at the National Geographic State Bee for fourth through eighth-graders April 6 at Longwood University in Farmville. 

 

The Virginia state winner was Caleb Hines, a homeschooler from Ashburn. He and the other state champions will compete at the National Geographic Bee Championship in Washington in May 20-23.
