St. James School in Falls Church was named “Best Private School”
in Falls Church by the readers of the “Falls Church News-Press.” The
113-year-old school run by the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of
Mary nuns based out of Immaculata, Pa., was selected over four other schools.
The school was praised for, “Terrific atmosphere and friendly,
talented teachers dedicated to education,” by the readers.
St. James School is also a two-time recipient of the U.S.
Department of Education’s “Blue Ribbon for Excellence” award in 1999 and 2014.
