O’Connell counselor named as Middle States commissioner

Daniel Stabile, a college and academic counselor at Bishop O’Connell High School in Arlington, was named as one of 10 new commissioners for the Middle States Association Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools Sept. 12. 
Stabile said he was honored to be named a commissioner. “This is a wonderful opportunity for me to serve our students, teachers, administrators, parents and all stakeholders in the school improvement process applying proven educational practices,” he said in a press release.
Middle States Association Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools, based in Philadelphia, helps school leaders establish and reach goals, develop strategic plans, promote staff development and advance student achievement.
