Where to find Living Stations of the Cross on Good Friday

First slide

Several parishes of the Diocese of Arlington will offer Living Stations of the Cross (or Via Crucis en Vivo) March 30. The living stations consist of a visual portrayal of Jesus on the way to his crucifixion. The procession and veneration are in Spanish, except where indicated below. All are invited.

It begins along Park Avenue with the journey to the Cross (located behind the rectory).  This year’s ‘Living of the Cross’ at St. James Catholic Church will be guided by the City of Falls Church Police and will start at 5:00 pm at the school’s gymnasium. The Via Crucis' route is Oak Street, then Fulton Street, then Spring Street, then across Park Avenue and ending at the back of the priests’ car garage. This year, the parish added 10 Roman soldiers and more characters to the drama.
