Vibrant musical, set in northern Manhattan's Washington Heights, charts the efforts of a youthful bodega owner (Anthony Ramos) to return to his native Dominican Republic, the scene of his idealized childhood, and reopen the beachside bar his father once ran there. 

His past comes back to haunt the retired leader (Vin Diesel) of a crew of street racers when his estranged brother (John Cena) turns out to be the muscle behind the effort of a dictator's evil son (Thue Ersted Rasmussen) to obtain a high-tech weapon that will give the villain world domination. 

Jason Mac wrote, directed and stars in this fatherhood-themed drama, playing a reluctant armed robber who, following a heist in which he was wounded, forcibly takes refuge in the secluded cabin of a solitary widower (Tobin Bell), thus dramatically interrupting the latter's tranquil routine. 

Needlessly gory, this action-comedy sequel also presents a debased view of sexual intimacy between spouses. The couple are the titular contract killer (Samuel L. Jackson) and the con woman (Salma Hayek) he has just married.
