 Deacon Guillermo J. González was born in El Salvador, studied in Spain and returned to serve the Diocese of Arlington. 

 Five deacons will be ordained to the priesthood by Bishop Michael F. Burbidge at the Cathedral of St. Thomas More in Arlington June 6. The ordination of deacons Guillermo J. González, Peter McShurley, Joseph F. Moschetto, Charles C. Pavlick and James F. Waalkes will be livestreamed from the cathedral.

On Pentecost Sunday, Bishop Michael F. Burbidge celebrated the first public Mass at the Cathedral of St. Thomas More in Arlington since public Masses were suspended in mid-March to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
