Grant Joseph Mantooth, a recent graduate of Seton School in Manassas, won second place in the 2017 National Right to Life Jane B. Thompson Oratory Contest held at the organization’s annual national convention in Milwaukee June 29-July 1.

New classes capitalize on a high demand for STEM and computer science classes, including Introduction to Cybersecurity and Honors Introduction to Engineering Design. In addition, classes in the religion department now include church history, bioethics and Catholic social teachings. 

A Northern Virginia native and member of a well-known Catholic family in the area, Chris Vander Woude is new to the school but established in the community. He plans to be a famous inventor, while she longs to be a dancer.

Frenzied but bland animated children's comedy pits a corrupt mayor (voice of Bobby Moynihan) against the band of animals (their leaders voiced by Will Arnett and Katherine Heigl) who inhabit his city's main park as he schemes to bulldoze the space, and turn it into a profit-making amusement concern.
