David De Costa, a junior at Bishop Ireton High School in Alexandria, was selected to participate in the Four Star Leadership Program at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Okla.
The program, hosted by the General Tommy Franks Leadership Institute and Museum in Hobart, Okla., aims to bring together and help further the excellence of top preforming high school students from across the nation.
Combined with De Costa’s service-oriented mindset and Catholic education within the diocese, he was selected in the program that aims to grow student leadership skills and gain connections with national and international figures. These figures come together from military, business and government backgrounds
