Our Lady of Hope School in Sterling hosted its inaugural “Crusaders in Calculation” math tournament in early May.

Students from across the diocese gathered for a morning full of problem-solving, teamwork and mathematical fun.

St. Theresa School in Ashburn won the first-place title, and Our Lady of Hope student Alex Hernandez was recognized with top individual honors.

This initiative marks the beginning of hopefully an annual tradition rooted in academic excellence and appreciation for mathematics.
