Local residents can be screened for their risk of stroke or
bone fracture May 10 at Kemper Macon Ware Lodge, 411 Little
Falls St., Falls Church.
The screenings, offered by Life Line Screening, a provider of
community-based preventive health screenings, will identify
potential cardiovascular conditions including blocked
arteries and irregular heart rhythm, abdominal aortic
aneurysms, and hardening of the arteries in the legs – a
strong predictor of heart disease. Bone density screenings to
assess osteoporosis risk also will be offered.
