An exhibit featuring a replica of the Shroud of Turin is on display at the Catholic Information Center in Washington through September.

The life-size replica of the shroud, believed to be burial cloth of Jesus, was produced by the International Center for Sindonology in Turin, Italy, and loaned to the center by the Museum of the Bible in Washington.

A grand opening of the exhibit was held at the center March 28. Speakers discussed the history of the shroud and Father Charles Trullols, director of the center, blessed the exhibit.

The Catholic Information Center offers Masses, Catholic community and spiritual formation in the nation’s capital.
