announced the following clergy appointments:
Parochial Administrator
Reverend Ugochukwu J. Cletus, S.S.J. – from service outside
the diocese to Administrator of the Church of Saint Joseph in
Alexandria, was effective September 28, 2012.
Reverend Christopher J. Pollard – from service at the
Apostolic Nunciature to the United Nations, Permanent
Observer Mission of the Holy See, to Parochial Administrator
of the Church of Saint John the Beloved in McLean, effective
October 24, 2012.
Special Assignment
Reverend Paul D. Scalia – from Pastor of the Church of Saint
John the Beloved in McLean and Bishop’s Delegate for Priests,
to full time ministry as Bishop’s Delegate for Clergy and
Special Delegate for the implementation of Anglicanorum
Coetibus, effective October 24, 2012. Father Scalia will be
in residence at the Saint Rose of Lima Priest Retirement
Villa in Annandale.
Reverend John C. Cregan – from Bishop’s Delegate for Retired
Priests and Permanent Deacons to full time ministry as Pastor
of the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, effective October 24,
2012.
Service Outside the Diocese
Reverend Francis M. Hull, S.S.J. – from Pastor of the Church
of Saint Joseph in Alexandria, to retirement with the Saint
Joseph’s Society of the Sacred Heart, was effective September
28, 2012.
