Community members of St. Ambrose School in Annandale gathered around their home computers for an evening of online trivia modeled after the popular game show “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?” Jan. 22.

Forty families competed in the event moderated by fifth grade teacher Bridget McCormack, who asked questions based on school curriculum and even stumped some of the parents. After four competitive rounds, sixth grader Connor Terreri ultimately prevailed.

The event was organized by St. Ambrose’s parent-teacher organization and is one of a series of virtual events that includes an upcoming virtual 5k in March.
