Eighth grade students attending public schools or non-Catholic private schools who are interested in attending Catholic high schools in the Arlington diocese must take the High School Placement Test offered Dec. 7 or Jan. 11. This test is required for placement at Bishop Ireton High School, Bishop O’Connell High School, St. Paul VI Catholic High School and Saint John Paul the Great Catholic High School. Students must register for the HSPT on the high school’s website by Nov. 26 for the Dec. 7 test and by Jan. 6 for the Jan. 11 test.
