Holy Family School fun run draws more than 150

Holy Family Catholic School in Dale City hosted its 12th annual Falcon Fun Run April 27.

More than 150 racers participated in the 1-mile or 5K run. The course was an exciting experience for both experienced and beginner runners. Runners completed a race loop, facing some challenging hills before seeing the finish line at the same location.

The National Junior Honor Society and Student Council provided face painting before and during the race for those who chose to cheer on the racers, as well as a few of the participants.

This year’s sponsors included Miro’s Foreign Car Service, John Paul I Knights of Columbus, Realty by Wayne Mattson with Century 21, Certified Auto Repair Service, Wegmans, and Pearson Pediatric Dentistry fun run.

Next year’s fun run will be held April 5.
