Students at St. Anthony of Padua School in Falls Church met with retired NASA astronaut Daniel Tani and a science and engineering class from Bishop O’Connell High School in Arlington for a reading fiesta in the school cafeteria Sept. 1.

The fiesta day rewarded students who read 50 books during the school’s summer reading challenge. The day included building rockets with straws, a flight challenge and enjoying refreshments.
