Participants of the Mother of Light Center’s semiannual Street Retreat took to the streets of Alexandria during Holy Week April 3 to pray with those in need and evangelize. The retreat included preaching by Father Paul A. Berghout (center), parochial vicar of Queen of Apostles Church in Alexandria; hymns led by Martha Orellana from St. Rita Church in Alexandria; and recitation of the rosary and Chaplet of Divine Mercy.
